LOUISA — Lawrence County High School product Shane Pack has earned his place in the Alice Lloyd College Hall of Fame.

Pack attended Alice Lloyd College from 2010-2014, graduating with a sports and fitness degree. As a four-year member of the Alice Lloyd College baseball team, Pack was known for his power hitting.

A native of Louisa, Pack was a four-year starter and put together an impressive career for the Eagles. Pack was an All-Conference selection on three different occasions. He was named First Team All-Conference when he batted .355 as a sophomore. His average increased each year, including an impressive .398 in his senior year. Pack led Alice Lloyd in RBIs and home runs for two years. He is one of the best sluggers to wear the Alice Lloyd College pinstripes.

Currently, Pack resides in Louisa, serving his community as a lieutenant in the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Pack’s plaque was presented by his former college coaches, Alice Lloyd College Vice-President of Student Services, Scott Cornett, and ALC Director of Athletics, David Hatfield.
