Meet the Bulldogs set for Nov. 18

LOUISA — Meet the Bulldogs will be held at 7 p.m. at the Lawrence County High School Gym on Thursday, Nov. 18.

The preseason event will feature the Lawrence County High School boys' and girls' basketball teams.

All Hoops League players will be introduced in the spotlight during Meet the Bulldogs.

The event will give fans an opportunity to meet the LCHS boys' and girls' basketball teams.

The Bulldogs, under the direction of head coach Chandler Thompson, ended the 2020-21 boys' high school basketball season 11-11. Lawrence County finished runner-up to Betsy Layne in the 2020-21 58th District Boys' Basketball Tournament.

After capturing its second straight 58th District championship, Lawrence County is carrying momentum into the 2021-22 girls' high school basketball season. Lawrence County excelled in the 2020-21 girls' high school basketball season, compiling a 19-11 record.

Each Lawrence County basketball team opened preseason practice in mid-October.
