Lawrence County Wrestling Club

Members of the Lawrence County Wrestling Club participated and won in the KFWC Youth and Middle School State Championship Sunday, Feb. 5, in Corbin. Individual state champions were Gentry Bowen, 6u 40 pounds; Noah Young, 6u 45 pounds; Braxton Young, 8u 62 pounds; and Brayson Raines, 10u 105 pounds. Also placing at the competition were Cory Keeton, state runner-up, 8u 53 pounds; Jaxon Cook, third place, 10u 71 pounds; Waylon Raines, fourth place, 8u 70 pounds; Jace Napier, fifth place, 12u 98 pounds; Eli Block, fifth place, 8u 56 pounds; Logan Dean, fifth place, 12u 108 pounds; Noah Wilks, fifth place, 12u 117 pounds; Gannon Bowen, sixth place, 10u 49 pounds; and Travis Cook, sixth place, 12u 98 pounds.
