Lawrence County Kids Fishing Tournament

Yatesville Lake in Lawrence County was the place to be if you were a kid on Saturday, June 3. More than 100 kids got the chance to go fishing in the Kid’s Fishing Day at the lake from 9 a.m. to noon. A lunch provided by Giovanni’s Pizza of Louisa. Top size fish was 14 inches.

The Corp would like to thank Yatesville Lake State Park, Yatesville Lake Golf Course, Pepsi, Giovanni’s Pizza, Rebel Rivers Outfitters and Ken Akers, Foothills Communications, WalMart of Louisa, Blue Light Bargains, Lawrence County Tourism Commission-Kentucky, Marathon Petroleum Corporation, Yatesville Bait and Tackle, Lawrence County Sheriff’s office, Phil Carter, Chris Jobe and all the volunteers and staff.

Bobber also made an appearance to meet with the kids and for pictures.
