Lawrence County blanks Floyd Central in three innings 17-0

EASTERN — Continuing to dominate in the 58th District, Lawrence County shut out host Floyd Central 17-0 in three innings on Tuesday, April 27.
Seventh grade pitcher Taylor Blevins led Lawrence County to the victory, pitching a complete game one hit shutout as she claimed the win in the circle.
Several players contributed at the plate for Lawrence County in the district win.
Allie Triplett (two hits, four RBIs), Gracie Preece (one hit, three RBIs), Kensley Feltner (three hits, one RBI), Danielle Crum (two hits, two RBIs), Ella Fitzpatrick (two hits, two RBIs), Savannah Wright (one hit, two RBIs), Jaylee Maxie (one hit, one RBI) and Shelby Blevins (one RBI) each delivered offensively for the Lady Bulldogs in the 58th District win.

Visiting Lawrence County rolled past Betsy Layne 20-2 in three innings in a 58th District softball game on Monday, April 26.
Danielle Crum drilled two home runs, doubled, tripled and drove in eight runs to lead Lawrence County to the district win
Following Crum's leading performance for the Lady Bulldogs, Kensley Feltner homered, doubled twice and drove in two runs.
In addition to Crum and Feltner, Abby Nelson homered and drove in three runs for the Lady Bulldogs.
Shelby Blevins earned the pitching win for Lawrence County in the 58th District game versus Betsy Layne.
