Lady Bulldogs upend Morgan County 77-71

WEST LIBERTY — Visiting Lawrence County upended Morgan County 77-71 in overtime in a girls' high school basketball game on Tuesday, March 9.

Lawrence County shot 54.5 percent (24-of-44) from the field. The Lady Bulldogs shot 69.2 percent (9-of-13) from 3-point range.

Lawrence County finished 20-of-32 (62.5 percent) from the free throw line.

Kensley Feltner led Lawrence County to the win, scoring 31 points and hauling in eight rebounds. Feltner was 7-of-12 from inside the arc.

Lawrence County featured three scorers in double figures as Kaison Ward added 17 points and Sophie Adkins contributed 14 points.

Finishing near double figures for Lawrence County, Ellie Webb added nine points.

Morgan County shot 37.7 percent (23-of-61) from the field. The Lady Cougars were 8-of-27 (29.6 percent) from 3-point range.

Morgan County shot 77.3 percent (17-of-22) from the free throw line.

Jenna Hampton paced Morgan County, scoring 31 points. Hampton was 11-of-14 from the free throw line.

In addition to Hampton in double figures for Morgan County, Emily Adkins added 14 points and Aspen Ferguson logged 12 points.
