Lawrence County pulled away to defeat Harlan County 13-1 in five innings at the Cal Ripken Experience on Sunday, April 2.

Taylor Blevins earned the win in the circle for perennial 15th Region title contender Lawrence County. Blevins gave up only one run on three hits while recording eight strikeouts.

Contributing in the circle for Lawrence County, Allie Triplett pitched one inning, giving up two hits while logging two strikeouts.

Triplett excelled at the plate for Lawrence County, delivering two hits and two RBIs.

In addition to Triplett, Dani Crum (three hits, one RBI), Gracie Preece (three hits, three RBIs), Abby Nelson (three hits), Bree Jones (one hit, three RBIs), Kensley Feltner (one hit, two RBIs), Abby Maynard (one hit, one RBI) and Shelby Blevins (one hit) produced at the plate.

Lawrence County slipped into the loss column as Marian Central Catholic prevailed 4-2 at the Cal Ripken Experience on Monday, April 3.

Taylor Blevins suffered the loss in the circle for the Lady Bulldogs. Blevins, who pitched a complete game, recorded three strikeouts over seven innings.

Offensively for Lawrence County, Blevins (one hit), Bree Jones (one hit, one RBI), Gracie Preece (one hit) and Dani Crum (one hit) chipped in at the plate.

Lawrence County shut out Lynn Camp 12-0 in five innings at the Cal Ripken Experience on Monday, April 3.

Allie Triplett pitched a three-hit shutout to lead Lawrence County to the win. Triplett recorded six strikeouts.

Niagara-Wheatfield (N.Y.) 6

Lawrence County overcame a slow start to beat Niagara-Wheatfield 9-6 at the Cal Ripken Experience on Tuesday, April 4.

Allie Triplett pitched five and two-thirds scoreless innings in relief to claim the win for the Lady Bulldogs. Triplett limited Niagara-Wheatfield to only one hit while recording five strikeouts.

Chipping in at the plate, Triplett singled.

Gracie Preece (four hits, one RBI), Kensley Feltner (two hits, four RBIs), Shelby Blevins (one hit, one RBI), Abby Maynard (one hit, two RBIs), Ella Fitzpatrick (one hit) and Dani Crum (one hit) each connected at the plate for Lawrence County in the matchup.

Both Preece and Feltner doubled for the Lady Bulldogs.

Lawrence County doubled up Butler (Ohio) 8-4 at the Cal Ripken Experience on Thursday, April 6.

Taylor Blevins pitched a complete game for Lawrence County and claimed the win in the circle. Blevins recorded six strikeouts.

Bree Jones led Lawrence County at the plate, finishing four-four-four with one RBI.

Along with Jones, Kensley Feltner (two hits, two RBIs), Dani Crum (two hots) Abby Maynard (one hit, one RBI) and Gracie Preece (one hit) made an impact offensively for the Lady Bulldogs.
