Lady Bulldogs deliver strong performance in Soccerama

PRESTONSBURG — Continuing to prepare for the 2026 girls’ high school soccer season, Lawrence County thrived during the Soccerama at StoneCrest on Saturday, Aug. 1.

On the varsity girls’ soccer level, Lawrence County compiled a 3-1 record.

Undefeated in JV games, Lawrence County finished 2-0 on the junior varsity girls’ soccer level.

Lawrence County outscored its opponents 13-3. Contributing to Lawrence County’s scoring effort were Addy Howard (four goals), Harper Cline (three goals), Kendyl Webb (two goals), Lizzie Mynhier (two goals), Dakota Thornsbury (one goal) and Irelyn Jones (one goal).

Lawrence County is scheduled to host longtime rival Boyd County for its opening match in the 2026 girls’ high school soccer season on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
