Kylie Kinner named 15th Region Girls’ Volleyball Player of the Year

PAINTSVILLE — Paintsville junior outside hitter Kylie Kinner has been named the 15th Region Girls’ Volleyball Player of the Year.

The Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association honored Kinner, who is a standout for the Lady Tigers.

Kinner led Paintsville to the 2025 15th Region All “A” Classic and 57th District championships. Paintsville finished runner-up in the 15th Region Girls’ Volleyball Tournament.

Kinner recorded 828 kills, 29 blocks, 18 assists, 382 digs and 78 service aces in the 2025 girls’ high school volleyball season.

The player of the year award winners from throughout the state are as follows: Region 1 - Lilly Hamilton (McCracken County), Region 2 - Chloe Soukup (Webster County), Region 3 - Avery Gray (Apollo), Region 4 - Amirra Bailey (Bowling Green), Region 5 - Jessica Smallwood (Elizabethtown), Region 6 - Madelyn Yaden (Mercy), Region 7 - Elle Grivna (Ballard), Region 8 - Jenna Kitchens (Simon Kenton), Region 9 - Morgan Heater (Ryle), Region 10 - Milyn Minor (Scott), Region 11 - Cameron Owens (Bryan Station), Region 12 - Claire Connor (Trinity Christian), Region 13 - Shelbi Carroll (Corbin), Region 14 - Naoma Noble (Wolfe County), Region 15 - Kylie Kinner (Paintsville), Region 16 - Peyton Powell (Greenup County).
