PAINTSVILLE — Trevor Hoskins has resigned from his position as head coach of the Paintsville football program.
Hoskins announced his resignation on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Over four seasons as head coach of the Tigers, Hoskins compiled a 22-26 record.
“This was a tough decision,” Hoskins said, after announcing that he was stepping away from the Paintsville football program. “After much thought, consideration, and prayer, my family and I have made the decision to explore other opportunities. With a growing family and our oldest (child) about to start school it was important for us to take a step back and look at where we see ourselves long-term. I want to thank the former Paintsville administration for the opportunity and support. I also want to thank the current administration for their continued support and their understanding and respect of this decision. We trust in God’s plan and are excited for whatever is next.”
Paintsville reached the second round of the 2024 KHSAA Class 1A Playoffs. The Tigers compiled a 4-8 record in the 2024 high school football season.
