Horn, Feltner to represent Lawrence County on Junior East Team

BOWLING GREEN — Head coach Kenny Horn and shortstop Kensley Feltner have been selected to represent Lawrence County on the Junior East Team in Bowling Green Saturday, June 18-Sunday, June 19.
The East/West All-Star Series will feature high school softball players from throughout the state.
Under Horn’s direction, Lawrence County captured the 58th District title and reached the semifinals of the 15th Region Softball Tournament during the 2022 high school softball season. Lawrence County exited the 2022 high school softball season 29-7.
Feltner was among the leaders for Lawrence County throughout the 2022 high school softball season, batting over .400 and leading the Bulldogs defensively.
The Junior East All-Star Team’s roster include Feltner, Kirsten Vice (Bath County), Courtney Sandy (Boyle County), Lauren Tipton (Boyle County), Paige Stewart (Campbell County), Alayne Reynolds (Corbin), Maddie Horn (East Jessamine), Macie Muncie (Estill County), Aislinn Ellis (Garrard County), Trinity Bridges (Lafayette), Claire Cronan (Lafayette), Lucy Nash (Lexington Catholic), Hallie Conley (Montgomery County), Delaney Vaughn (Scott County), Kinsley Redmon (Western Jills), Sarah Smith (Wolfe County).
The coaches for the Junior East All-Star Team are Horn, Matt Puckett (Montgomery County) and Hector Urbaneja (Bryan Station).
