Floyd Central’s Delilah Rodriguez wins the 2A Golf State Tournament title

Delilah Rodriquez, a member of the Floyd Central High School girls golf team captured the 2A Regional Tournament title, earning her a coveted spot in the state tournament held in Owensboro.
On Monday, Sept. 8, she competed among the top golfers in the state, finishing tied for 8th place out of 25 competitors.
“Delilah’s success is a testament to her hard work and support of her coaches, teammates and family,” said Superintendent Tonya Horne-Williams. “We are so proud of the way she represented Floyd Central and the entire Floyd County School community.”
