Floyd Central Track and Field Golf Scramble set for Aug. 19

EASTERN — The Floyd Central High School track and field program is preparing to host a golf scramble at StoneCrest Golf Course on Friday, Aug. 19.
Earlier in the year, Floyd Central completed its debut season. Floyd Central competes with Belfry, Estill County, Knott County Central, Lawrence County, Letcher County Central, Magoffin County, Perry County Central, Pike County Central and Powell County in Class 2A, Region 7.
The fee for the Floyd Central Track and Field Golf Scramble is $200 per team (four players). Lunch will be provided for each participant in the scramble.
A hole sponsorship for the scramble is available for $175.
First-, second- and third-place trophies will be awarded for the top three teams in the event. The scramble will include a closest-to-the-hole contest. In addition, mulligans will be available.
The scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
