PIKEVILLE – Senior midfielder Skylar Chapman has been named the University of Pikeville Women's Soccer Team MVP. Chapman, a Lawrence County High School graduate from Louisa, was honored as the UPike Women's Soccer Team MVP during the 2020 University of Pikeville Bear Awards in April. The 2020 University of Pikeville Bear Awards aired on Facebook.Over nine games in the 2019 women's college soccer season, Chapman netted two goals for the Bears.In addition to being named UPike Women's Soccer Team MVP, Chapman was recognized as a Mid-South Conference Champion of Character honoree. The University of Pikeville women's soccer team concluded the 2019 season 6-11.
