LOUISA — Lawrence County rolled past Floyd Central 89-59 in a 58th District boys’ basketball game on Friday, Jan. 31.

The Bulldogs pulled away to win convincingly in the district matchup.

Lawrence County shot 47.8 percent (32-of-67) from the field. The Bulldogs shot 45.8 percent (11-of-24) from three-point range.  

Lawrence County shot 66.7 percent (14-of-21) from the free throw line.

Four players reached double figures in the Bulldogs’ scoring column.

Gunnar Woods paced Lawrence County, scoring 21 points for the Bulldogs.

As part of Lawrence County’s balanced offensive attack, Kaiden Harris scored 19 points, Hayden Perry netted 18 points and Kaden Johnson posted 11 points.

Lawrence County received scoring from 10 different players. Additional scorers Caden Muncy (five points), Braxton Davis (four points), Isaah Hughes (four points), Luke Fetherolf (three points), Andrew Ratcliff (two points) and Wyatt Branham (two points) contributed offensively to aid Lawrence County in its convincing victory.

Perry recorded a double-double for Lawrence County, securing 10 rebounds.
