LOUISA — Continuing to win in the 2021 boys' high school soccer season, Lawrence County defeated Johnson Central and Russell over a three-day span.

Blake Maynard scored three goals to lead visiting Lawrence County over Johnson Central 5-4 in a boys' high school soccer match on Tuesday, Aug. 24.
In addition to Maynard's hat trick, Luke Johnson and Sam LeFever netted one goal apiece for the Bulldogs.
Johnson, Zach Holt, Cooper Smith and Brian Nelson distributed one assist apiece for Lawrence County.
Goalkeeper Trenton Adkins led Lawrence County's defensive effort, recording seven saves while allowing four goals.
Braydon Staniford (two goals, one assist), Shawn Arms (one goal, two assists), Sawyer Crum (one goal) and Dillon Vickroy (one assist) contributed to the Golden Eagles' offensive attack.
Defensively for Johnson Central, goalkeeper Tate Cox recorded 11 saves while allowing five goals.

Along with Maynard's leading performance, Luke Johnson (two goals, one assist), Andrew Vinson (one goal), Logan Southers (one goal), Sam LeFever (two goals), Cooper Smith (one assist), William Copley (one assist) and Joseph Moore (one assist) contributed offensively for the Bulldogs.
Goalkeeper Trenton Adkins paced Lawrence County's defensive effort, recording nine saves while allowing three goals.
Casey Roberts, Ben Totten and Blake Hern scored one goal apiece for Russell in the match. Hern and Nathan Totten dealt out one assist apiece the Red Devils.
