Brooks named Class 3A, District 8 Lineman of the Year

LOUISA — Lawrence County junior Ty Brooks has been named the Class 3A, District 8 Lineman of the Year.
The Kentucky Football Coaches Association honored Brooks.
Among the leaders for Lawrence County, Brooks has helped to pace the Bulldogs up front throughout the 2025 high school football season. A standout, Brooks is among the top linemen in Class 3A. Defensively, Brooks has recorded 40 tackles, 11 tackles for losses and two sacks for the Bulldogs.
Brooks will be recognized and receive his district lineman of the year award during the KHSAA State Football Finals at Kroger Field in Lexington in early-December.
The lineman of the year award winners for Class 3A are as follows: District 1 - Ryan Walls (Murray), District 2 - Matt Stephens (LaRue County), District 3 - Kellan Hall (Christian Academy-Louisville), District 4 - Mark Hosinski (Lexington Catholic), District 5 - King Lee (Bourbon County), District 6 - Zack Brown (Russell), District 7 - Spencer Phipps (Bell County), District 8 - Ty Brooks (Lawrence County).
