Basketball camp scheduled June 7-9 in Martin County

INEZ — The Martin County Lady Cardinals will hold their basketball camp June 7-9 at the Martin County High School gym from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for incoming girls and boys in kindergarten through sixth grade.

The camp is designed to give each player an opportunity to develop their individual fundamentals and game skills. Each camper will leave with specific drills to use to develop their overall game.

Each session of the camp will provide the players with instruction in skill development, offensive and defensive footwork and proper shooting techniques.

Divisions will be K-first, second-third and fourth-sixth.

Each camper will receive a shirt. Cost is $50 per camper and $40 for additional campers. Awards will be given.

Camp coaches will be Robin Newsome, Todd Howard, Ally Scott, Jason Wefenstette, Boo Newsome and others.
