15th Region players named to KHSBCA Preseason Watch List

LEXINGTON — Players from the 15th Region are among the student-athletes that have been named to the KHSBCA Preseason Watch List.

The Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association releases the KHSBCA Preseason Watch List annually.

The 15th Region players that have been named to the KHSBCA Preseason Watch List are Anderson Lauffer (Paintsville), Brody Howell (Paintsville), Brayden Shepherd (Johnson Central), Gray Derifield (Lawrence County), Boedy Maynard (Lawrence County), Dixon Kincheloe (Paintsville), Kaleb Callahan (Johnson Central), Chase Preece (Johnson Central), Braxton Davis (Lawrence County) and Kyler Callahan (Johnson Central).

Johnson Central is the defending 15th Region baseball champion.

The 2026 high school baseball season opened on Monday, March 16.
