INEZ — The Martin County Grand Jury issued two indictments on Dec. 19.

•Shonda Crum, 38, of Tomahawk, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana; third-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession/use of drug paraphernalia.

On or before Oct. 18, Crum was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, Buprenorphine, a bottle used to store controlled substances and scales used to weigh controlled substances.

•Timothy Stacy, 53, of Kermit, W.Va., is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication, excluding alcohol.

On or before Dec. 8, Stacy was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and was manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance, or other intoxicating substance, to the degree that he was a danger to himself or other persons or property, or unreasonably annoying to persons in his vicinity.

(Editor’s note: An indictment is not an indication of guilt but a determination by a grand jury that criminal charges warrant further judicial review.)
