Johnson County Grand Jury hands down 15 True Bills to end out the year

Tyler Isaacs, 29, Salyersville, receiving stolen property over $1,000 (auto) after being in possession on Nov. 26, of a 1997 Jeep belonging to Billy Hall of Louisa reported stolen by Louisa Police Sgt. Steve Wilburn. Persistent felony offense, failure of non-owner to maintain insurance, no registration plates and expired registration plates.

Alvin Robbins, 43, of Sitka, was charged with first-degree possession of controlled substance, alcohol intoxication, and possession of drug paraphernalia when on Oct. 19, he was in possession of 19.669 grams of Methamphetamine, a glass pipe and was manifestly intoxicated in a public place.

Zachary Bowen, 32, of Hustonville, was charged with fleeing/evading police, persistent felony offender, operating on a revoked license, speeding 19 miles over speed limit, no seatbelt, no license, reckless driving when on Oct. 9, he attempted to flee from KSP Trooper Mark Spencer while driving on a revoked license.

Jerry Finch, 47, of Salyersville, was charged with promoting contraband and persistent felony offender when on Sept. 12, he unlawfully introduced, obtained or possessed Methamphetamine in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

Douglas Wright, 48, of Salyersville, was charged with fourth offense DUI within 10 years, persistent felony offender, no insurance, improper registration plates, no registration receipt when on Sept. 4, Wright was found to be driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other substance that impaired his driving ability.

Steve Spence, 49, (homeless), was charged with promoting contraband when on Aug. 10, he unlawfully introduced, obtained, or possessed Methamphetamine in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

Glen Staniford, 43, of Tutor Key, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, DUI, no insurance, no registration plates, failure to produce insurance card, operating on revoked license, possession of marijuana when on Oct. 18, he was in possession of Methamphetamine, 4 dosage units of Gabapentin and driving under the influence.

Heather McKinney, 37, of Salyersville, was charged with two counts promoting contraband and persistent felony offender when on April 29, she committed the offense of unlawfully introduced, obtained or possessed Fentanyl and Methamphetamine into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

Robert Carr, 37, of Nippa, was charged with criminal abuse when on Sept. 6, he unlawfully committed the offense of abusing a minor under the age of 12 causing serious physical injury to the child.

Breanna Mullins, 25, of Pikeville, was charged with burglary and shoplifting when on July 17, she committed the offense of entering the Paintsville Walmart after having being previously banned and unlawfully taking $287 worth merchandise from the store.

Darren Mollett, 31, of Boones Camp, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and public intoxication excluding alcohol when on Nov. 24, he committed the offense of being in possession of Methamphetamine, a set oof digital scales with chemical residue and was manifestly intoxicated in a public place.

Regina Chance, 59, of Staffordsville, was charged DUI with fourth offense or greater within ten years, operating on a revoked license when on March 29, she committed the offense of being impaired while driving under the influence of alcohol or other substance that impaired her ability to drive.

Sherry Ferguson, 36, of Paintsville, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking within 1000 feet of a school and prescription of a controlled substance not in proper container when on Oct. 23, she committed the offense of unlawfully being in possession of 283 grams of Methamphetamine, weighing scales, $4,620 in cash unused plastic baggies and also unlawfully being in possession of 172 dosage units of Suboxone all while being within 1000 feet from both Paintsville Elementary and High School. The Suboxone was also not in the properly administered container.

David Harris, 44, of Falcon, was charged with Possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia when on Sept. 1, he was unlawfully in possession of both Methamphetamine, marijuana, two glass pipes and a syringe.

Justin Trout, 33, of David, was charged with Theft by Deception oner $1,000 when on Nov. 21, he unlawfully issued a check for $8,040.61 with the intent to deprive Trust Bank of Paintsville.

Cameron Mollett, 23, of Paintsville, was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and persistent felony offender when on Dec. 13, he was unlawfully in possession of telephone cable that had been cut and removed belonging to Foothills Telephone Company.
