PRESTONSBURG — Floyd County K-9 officer Drago led Floyd County Sheriff John Hunt and his deputies Friday to their largest heroin bust to date, a release issued by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office said.

On Friday, deputies located an individual in Prestonsburg wanted on outstanding warrants, the release said. While interviewing the individual, K-9 Drago alerted deputies to the presence of illegal narcotics, the release said.

Hunt and the deputies seized over 100 grams of heroin, 300 grams of crystal meth, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia, along with a loaded handgun, the release said.
