Tug River being searched for missing Johnson County man

Police in Martin County are searching the Tug River for a Johnson County man who was last seen Friday, Dec. 13.

Family posted on social media recently asking for information on the whereabouts of David Blevins.

Since then, Martin County Sheriff John Kirk confirmed they’ve been notified of the missing man from Johnson County and began a search believing it may have been the same person that ran away from him toward the river on Dec. 13, while he was attempting a traffic stop.

The family is asking for helping locating Blevins and if anyone sees him, has knowledge of his location or may have recently spoken to him to call his daughter Elizabeth Burkett at 859-544-5362 or his father David at 606-297-6330.
