Summer Splash is now SummerFest 2023

LOUISA —SummerFest 2023 is scheduled for June 17 at Old Boones Landing at the Lawrence County Wilderness Park and the event is free and starts at 12 p.m.

The name got changed, and new items were added to the fun, but the date and time are the same and the event is still free.

There will be water inflatables and sprinklers for the kids, free putt-putt golf all day, tournaments and prizes, cornhole, jiu jitsu, and more.

Food Trucks, drinks and ice bream will be available.

You can take a nature walk with a wildlife biologist.

There will also be vendors, Farmer’s Market and Crafters as well as live music at the Amphitheater featuring Micah & Gracie at 4 p.m.; Andrew & Don Rigsby at 5 p.m.; Solid Ground at 6 p.m.; Connor Dale & Rachel Messer at 7 p.m. and The Chuck Robertson Project at 8 p.m.

The free event is sponsored by the Lawrence County Fiscal Court.
