PAINTSVILLE — Six people were charged with bail jumping in indictments returned May 18 by the Johnson County Grand Jury.

Charged with first-degree bail jumping were:

• Ethan Spears, 30, of Lexington, named in two separate indictments for allegedly failing to appear for a plea hearing in two felony cases on April 1.

• Richard Harvey, 26, of Paintsville, for allegedly failing to appear for a sentencing hearing on a felony charge on May 6.

• Alexis Boyd, 27, of Louisa, for allegedly failing to appear for a report date hearing on a felony charge on April 1.

• Kristopher Mollette, 34, of Wittensville, for allegedly failing to appear for a change-of-plea hearing on a felony charge on March 4.

• Delana Ratliff, 47, of Salyersville, for allegedly failing to appear for arraignment on a felony charge on Feb. 11.

• Denny Jo Blanton, 28, of Oil Springs, for allegedly failing to appear for arraignment on a felony charge on Feb. 11.

(Editor’s note: An indictment is not an indication of guilt but a determination by a grand jury that criminal charges warrant further judicial review.)
