LOUISA – The streets of downtown Louisa will come alive with music, food and community spirit during the annual Septemberfest, set for Friday, Sept. 5, and Saturday, Sept. 6. This year’s festival deemed the “Rivers and Rails Celebration” will have two full days of entertainment across multiple stages. The festival promises something for everyone—from classic rock and country to bluegrass and emerging local talent.

The Friday night Main Stage lineup will feature: Liv and the 606 Syndicate, Guns for Hire and That Arena Rock Show, who is a powerhouse tribute concert that takes audiences back to the glory days of 1970s and 80s arena rock. Known for their explosive stage presence, authentic costumes, and spot-on renditions of legendary bands like Journey, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses, and more, the group delivers a full-scale rock-and-roll experience.

On Saturday afternoon, the Main Street Park Bluegrass Show will spotlight traditional and rising bluegrass acts including: Lonesome Express, Blue Debut and Pitney Meyer, who is one of bluegrass music’s most exciting up-and-coming acts, blending tight harmonies, driving instrumentals, and heartfelt songwriting that pay tribute to the traditions of the genre while carving out a fresh, modern sound. Known for their high-energy live performances, the group captures audiences with a mix of hard-hitting banjo and mandolin runs, smooth fiddle lines, and vocals that carry both power and soul.

The Saturday night Main Stage will keep the energy high with performances by: The Shelby Lore Band, Sam Donald and Headliner Chris Cagle, who is a country music powerhouse whose live shows are known for their high energy, heartfelt performances, and crowd-pleasing sing-alongs. With a career spanning multiple chart-topping hits, Cagle brings both passion and authenticity to the stage, connecting with fans through every lyric and guitar riff.

“I Breathe In, I Breathe Out” – his No. 1 single that became an anthem for country fans nationwide.

“What a beautiful Day” – a feel-good favorite that showcases Cagle’s signature blend of storytelling and melody.

“Chicks Dig It” – a fun, high-energy crowd favorite that always gets fans on their feet.

“Laredo” – a heartfelt ballad that highlights his emotional range as both a singer and songwriter.

“Got my Country On”– a rocking country anthem that proves why Cagle has been a staple in modern country music.

In addition to outstanding music, the festival will feature a parade, delicious food vendors, carnival rides, and family-friendly fun throughout downtown.

“Louisa’s Downtown Music Festival has grown into one of the region’s premier celebrations of music and community,” said Harold Slone, Chairman. “This year’s lineup offers a perfect mix of local talent and national acts that will make for an unforgettable weekend.”
