THE LAWRENCE COUNTY Tourism Commission sponsored an “Open Mic Night” at the Louisa Main Street City Park on Aug. 17. “What a show of talent we had” said Wes Kingsmore, Tourism Director, after the show. “Eastern Kentucky is just loaded with talent, and Lawrence County has our share,” he continued. Performers were Catrina Vargo singing original songs she had written; Red Martin, performed on his Dulcimer and Banjo; Mattox Hale, Tob Branham, Kyle May, Chuck Robertson, and Connor Dale also sang and played.
