One Indicted in Martin County for the month of April

INEZ — One man was indicted in Martin County on April 18, for traffic and weapon offenses.

Anthony Michael Jude, 47, of Pilgrim, is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; second-degree persistent felony offender; operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and failure of owner to maintain required insurance.

On or before Jan. 31, Jude was allegedly in possession of a Norinco brand semiautomatic handgun after having been previously convicted of a felony in Martin Circuit Court 11-CR-00075 and 11-CR-00092. Jude is a previously convicted of a felony and is charged in the current indictment with being a persistent felony offender. He operated a motor vehicle while his license to operate was suspended or revoked and he operated a motor vehicle on a Kentucky roadway without insurance as defined in KRS 304.39-080.
