More Events and Cash Prizes Added to 2026 Lawrence County Fair

The complete and official Lawrence County Fair schedule has been announced and is promising to be even more exciting than last year with new attractions and cash prizes added.

Starting Saturday, July 18, at 8 a.m., there will be Disc Golf at Lawrence County High School LCHS Course Flex start times through 1 p.m.; 2 p.m. Pet Show at Tractor Supply; and 5 p.m. Beauty Pageant & Talent Show at the Lawrence County Community Center on Bulldog Lane.

The talent show is new this year and offers the most talented winner a $500 prize for their country music performance and a spot before and after the rodeo on Saturday night, July 25 to show off their talent.

MONDAY, July 20: Rodeo entries text in (419) 305-3142 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, July 22: Vendor set-up and animal move-in.

THURSDAY, July 23: 5 p.m. Opening Ceremony; 5:15 p.m., Large Animal and Livestock Show (cows, sheep, pigs and goats); and Cowboy Church with Darrell Combs opening for Mike Cox.

FRIDAY, July 24:10:30 a.m., Sunshine Class (new event) if you know anyone with special needs or handicap that would like to be taken around the arena by volunteers and shown the animals/livestock they are welcome to come to this class; 2 p.m. posters judged; 5 p.m. Livestock Show (rabbits, chickens, turkeys); 6:30 p.m. Mutton Busting pre-horse show; and 7 p.m. Lawrence County Fair Horse Show. $4,000 payout., with 25 classes.

SATURDAY, July 25: 9 a.m. Registration-Car/Tractor/Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet;10 a.m. Cultural Arts Exhibit opens (judging at noon at the fair building);10 a.m. Wrestling (new event); 10 a.m. Tug of War in Horse Arena $500 in cash and prizes; 11 a.m. signups for Outhouse Races until 1:30 p.m. (race starts at 2 p.m.); 11 a.m. Lawn Tractor Pull; 11 a.m. Livestock Auction; 1 p.m. Greased Pig Contest (following livestock sale); 2 p.m. Outhouse Races ($1,000 payout); free inflatables for kids; (new event) a mechanical bull will be on-sight for those who want to try their luck $5 to ride; 7 p.m. Saturday Night’s highlight will be Rough E. Rodeo Event presenting broncs, bulls and barrels with Trick Rider Carlie Hale special presentation featuring “Don’t Tell the Bishop” comedy act on the midway and WB Mutton Busting Livestock Productions.

Tickets must be purchased for entry to rodeo, children 10 and under get in Free.
