Lawrence County Grand Jury Sends 11 Cases for Further Review

A Louisa couple was arrested after they were formally indicted by the Lawrence County Grand Jury on Thursday, July 9, on five counts of wanton endangerment in the 1st degree.
Destany Salyers, 27, and Trevor Tarring, 26, both of Meades Branch, are accused of unlawfully committing the offense on Jan. 13, of knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct that creates substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person, namely K.T., O.T., W.T., B.T., and K.T. five juvenile children.
Nine other people were indicted as well by the grand jury during their July session.
•William Ramey, 49, of Webbville, was charged with bail jumping 1st degree when he failed to appear in court for a pre-trial conference on Feb. 26.
•Deborah Widener, 49, of Louisa, was charged with bail jumping 1st degree when she failed to appear in court for an arraignment on May 14.
•Heather McKinney, 39, of Columbus, Ohio, was charged with bail jumping 1st degree when she failed to appear in court for a pre-trial conference on May 14.
•Tyler Burchett, 32, of Louisa, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree, possession/use of drug paraphernalia when on Jan. 17, he is accused of being in possession of methamphetamine and a syringe. Burchett is also charged with possession of marijuana.
•Rebecca Daniel, 43, of Blaine, was charged with failure to comply with sex offender registration and persistent felony offender 2nd degree when on May 16, she failed to register her new address with the appropriate local probation and parole office.
•Belinda Vanhorn, 43, of Blaine, was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, possession/use of drug paraphernalia (a glass pipe containing chemical residue), prescription of controlled substance not in proper container, possession of open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, improper turning. All these charges stem from an arrest on Dec. 27, 2025.
•Shelia Marcum, 63, of Clearfield, was charged with knowingly exploit adult by person over $300. According to the indictment Marcum issued unauthorized checks from monies she exercised control over in the total amount of $17,600.
•Nathaniel Meade, 35, of Louisa, was charged with assault 2nd degree dangerous instrument (2) counts when from Nov. 1 to Dec. 3, 2025, he is accused of unlawfully causing injury to two juveniles namely C.M. and J.M. by means of a dangerous instrument, namely a spatula.
•Pamela Camacho, 53, of Louisa, was charged with assault 2nd degree (police officer), assault 4th degree (2) counts, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol when on Aug. 22, 2025, she is accused of causing physical injury by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument, namely KSP Trooper Brad Hamilton, Chance Lomelo and Brett Bentley.
