LOUISA — The Louisa Police Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Jeremy Ray Burris, who is wanted in connection with the armed robbery involving a knife April 27 at Walgreens in Louisa.

Burris, 33, of Louisa, who drove away in a stolen vehicle following the holdup, is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding his location is advised to call their local 911 center with the information.

According to the original release, the Louisa Police Department was dispatched to the Walgreens armed robbery at 3:40 p.m. April 27.

“Walgreens employees advised the Lawrence County 911 Center that a white male with dark hair, white shorts and no shoes nor shirt had presented a knife, demanded various medications and then began fleeing the store but not before defecating on himself,” the release said. “The subject fled in an unknown direction in a 2002 purple/blue Nissan Xterra with license plate, WV 7SL910, which is linked with a theft complaint in Wayne County, W.Va.”

The case remains under investigation by Louisa Police Department Detective Hunter James and Patrolman Teddy Newsome.
