Lawrence man arrested on child porn charge

LOUISA — A Lawrence County man was arrested by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch Nov. 21 on a child pornography charge.

Saul E. Carcamo, 45, is charged with one count of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor over 12 years old.

Carcamo was arrested as a result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering Carcamo uploading images of child sexual exploitation online.

Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s digital forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

Carcamo was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Johnson County.
