Lawrence County Turkey Trot

The 2022 Lawrence County Turkey Trot was held Thanksgiving morning, with 130 walkers/runners participating. Two vehicle loads of food were collected to be donated to Lawrence County food pantries and $2,600 was collected that will be distributed to four Lawrence County school resource centers. “I appreciate the support to make this possible,” Lawrence County Tourism Commission chairman Wes Kingsmore said. “I am proud of a loving and giving community.” BSN photo/Brenda Hardwick
