Highlighting Lawrence County filings this week for the upcoming 2026 General Election Non-Partisan race:

Louisa City Council candidates who have filed are: Coty Roe, Robert “Joey” McClanahan, Sheryl L. Wellman, Caleb Farley, Kala Robinson and Sheila Thompson Holt.

Mayor candidates: incumbent Harold E. Slone and Corey Vanhoose.

Lawrence County Board of Education candidates: Maddlene Pack Roberts Dist. 1 (Clifford, Cherryville, Meades Br. Richardson), Jason Marcum Dist. 1 (Clifford, Cherryville, Meades Br. Richardson), Christopher Williams Dist. 3 (Brammer Gap, Blaine, Martha).

Partisan candidates moving on to General Election are:
