Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Letting 581 Bridge Replacement

LOUISA — Governor Andy Beshear’s Senior Advisor, Rocky Adkins announced that the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet would be letting 581 bridge replacement on Thursday Oct. 26, and they did.
With five bidders, Bush & Burchett Inc. appear to be the low bidder at $1,897,909.79, although the project has not yet been awarded. The project is slated to be completed by Nov. 15, 2024.
In their letting of the project, they issued a notice to contractors on Oct. 6, that bids will be received electronically through the bid express bidding service until 10 a.m. on Oct. 26.
The contract includes replacement of the bridge over Georges Creek, a distance of 0.19 miles. Bridge with grade, drain and surface.
