Johnson County issued 15 Indictments

PAINTSVILLE — The Johnson County Grand Jury issued 15 true bills on Nov. 17, including one charged with sex offenses.

•Anthony Taulbee, 47, of Salyersville, is charged with two counts of third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy.

On or about May 21, 2018 and May 22, 2018, Taulbee allegedly while being at least 10 years older than the victim who was 17-years-old at the time of the sexual intercourse, and being a person in a position of authority, he unlawfully engaged in sexual intercourse with a minor under 18-years-old with whom he came into contact as a result of that position and on or about May 21, 2018 through May 22, 2018Tualbee being at least 10 years older than the victim who was 17-years-old at the time, he performed deviate sexual intercourse on the victim.

•Eric Rogers, 26, of Salyersville, is charged with third-degree assault of a police officer; fourth-degree assault, minor injury; second-degree disorderly conduct and public intoxication of a controlled substance, excluding alcohol.

On or before Jan. 11, Rogers allegedly attempted to cause physical injury to Paintsville Police Officer, Timothy Ratliff while he was working in his official capacity; he attempted to cause physical injury to two members of Paintsville ARH’s emergency room medical staff; he engaged in violent or threatening behavior in a public place with the intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance and or alarm and he was under the influence of a controlled substance to the degree he may endanger himself or other persons or property or unreasonably annoy persons in his vicinity.

•Ronnie A. Hitchcock, 52, of Sitka, and Travis M. Howard, 29, of Salyersville, is charged with theft by unlawful taking over $1,000 but under $10,000/complicity.

Hitchcock, acting alone or in complicity with Howard, allegedly took an EZ-Go brand golf cart, owned by John Hilton of Paintsville, with an estimated value exceeding $1,000.

•Shawn King, 35, of Nippa, is charged with first-degree bail jumping.

On or before Oct. 13, King allegedly after having been released from custody by the court, upon condition that he would appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge 23-CR-00127, and he failed to appear at that time and place for his arraignment.

•Steven R. Caudill, 39, of Oil Springs, is charged with first-degree bail jumping.

On or before July 14, Caudill allegedly after having been released from custody by the court, upon the condition that he would appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge 23-CR-00015, and he failed to appear for his final report hearing.

•Gary Fraley, 43, of Paintsville, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession/use drug paraphernalia.

On or about March 31, Fraley was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and two syringes.

•Natalie Skeens, 23, of Wittensville, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession/use drug paraphernalia and second-degree disorderly conduct.

On or about June 7, Skeens was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, an altered glass pipe and she engaged in violent or threatening behavior in a public place with the intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance and or alarm.

•Charles Sickmon, 39, of Oil Springs, is charged in two indictments with first-degree bail jumping.

On or before June 9, Sickman allegedly after having been released from custody upon the condition that he would appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge 23-CR-00009 and 23-CR-00008 and he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court for a report date hearing.

•Jason Mollette, 34, of Paintsville, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession/use drug paraphernalia; second-degree disorderly conduct and public intoxication, excluding alcohol.

On or about Feb. 11, Mollette was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, a syringe, he engaged in violent or threatening behavior in a public place with the intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance and or alarm and he was manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance to the degree he may endanger himself or other persons or property or unreasonably annoy persons in his vicinity.

•Cindee Collins, 35, of Paintsville is charged with first-degree bail jumping.

On or before June 23, after allegedly having been released from custody by the court upon the condition that she would subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge 23-CR-00061, and she failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court for a pre-trial hearing.

•Jeremy Caudill, 44, of Leander, is charged with first-degree bail jumping.

On or before July 14, Caudill, after allegedly having been released from custody by the court upon the condition that he would subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge 20-CR-00041, and he failed to appear at that time and place for a sentencing hearing.

•Retina Meek, 43, of Williamsport, is charged with first-degree bail jumping.

On or before May 26, Meek, allegedly after having been released from custody by the court upon the condition that she would subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge, 22-CR-00077, and she failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court for a change of plea hearing.

•Brian Wilson, 30, of Hager Hill, is charged with first-degree bail jumping.

On or before May 12, Wilson, allegedly after being released from custody by the court upon the condition that he would subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge, 22-CR-00130, and he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court for a pre-trial hearing.
