Jenny Wiley Festival Held

COVID-19 did not stop the Jenny Wiley Festival from proceeding on schedule last weekend in Prestonsburg. The festival is usually among the last annual fall celebrations to be held in the Big Sandy region, but it was the only such event this year due to coronavirus concerns cancelling other festivals, such as Lawrence County Septemberfest in Louisa and the Kentucky Apple Festival in Paintsville. COVID-19 safety guidelines were followed during the Jenny Wiley Festival, as was demonstrated by Prestonsburg Mayor Les Stapleton (pictured).
