Honor Walk Held in Lawrence County

AN HONOR WALK was held Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va., for Steven Harper, 27, of Blaine, who accidentally shot himself on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023. Harper signed his driver’s license in 2017 to be an organ donor. Harper is survived by his parents, Stoney and Lisa Harper, a sister Cortney Harper, brothers Jordan and Eric Harper, Maternal Grandmother, Judy Powers and husband Randy and Paternal Grandfather Bob Harper and wife Margaret. Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Castle officiating. Burial followed in the Harper Family Cemetery at 577 Steel Branch in Blaine under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
