Fort Gay Man Jailed in WV is also Bumped to Lawrence Co. Grand Jury

A Wayne County man who was indicted this month in Lawrence County is back in jail in the West Virginia Western Regional Jail & Correctional Facility.

Kevin Michael Stiltner, 38, of Fort Gay, was arrested Monday, Oct. 27, and charged with prohibited person with firearm, two charges of possession of controlled substance, possession with intent and violation of a protective order.

In Lawrence County, Johnny Osborne, LC Attorney secured a referral on Wednesday, Oct. 1, for Stiltner to the LC Grand Jury.

The case was following the Sept. 19, traffic stop and investigation by Kentucky State Trooper Zack Wright.

A valid arrest and a search incident ultimately led to the discovery and seizure of fentanyl. Stiltner was also charged with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, 1st degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, controlled substance not in proper container, possession of controlled substance 1st degree (drug unspecified), failure to wear seatbelts, drug paraphernalia buy/possess and driving a motor vehicle while using hand held mobile phone.

No court date has been set in Lawrence County for Stiltner and at this time he is still being held in the Regional jail in West Virginia.
