Floyd County Man Killed in Logging Accident

A Floyd County man was killed Monday morning, Oct. 27, in a logging accident in Langley.

Officers with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department were first called to the Wilson Creek area of Langley at 10:45 a.m., where they found Dustin “Dusty” Lee Hall, 33, of Harold, deceased at the scene.

Hall was born January 20, 1992 in Floyd County, to Charles “Rooster” Kidd and Lisa Hall of Harold. He was the husband of Shayla Stevens Hall. Survivors also include five children, Aubrey Coleman, LaShonda Hall, Kiera Kimmel, Dominik Kimmel and Madison Kimmel; a brother and sister, Douglas Hall and Mia Kidd; and grandmother, Kathy Hall.

Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 1, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, with Brad Williams officiating. Burial was in Hall Cemetery, Harold.
