CSX Schedules Crossing Closures for Emergency Repairs in Johnson, and Lawrence Counties

PIKEVILLE – CSX advises the public of crossing closures for emergency rail repairs. Crossings may be closed for up to 48 hours.

CSX will close the following crossings beginning at 6 a. m., Johnson County, KY 581 MP 0.53-Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Thursday, Sept. 5; and KY 1107 MP 5.9-Main St.-Wednesday, Sept. 4; in Lawrence County, KY 2037 MP 1.9 Gallup Rd-Monday, Sept., 9 and Tuesday, Sept. 10.

Accommodations have been made for school bus traffic. All inquiries should be directed to CSX. Please pay close attention to the detour signage posted throughout the area.
