Lawrence County Boys' Basketball Golf Scramble set for July 11

LOUISA — The Lawrence County Boys' Basketball Golf Scramble is set for Saturday, July 11, at East Ridge Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The registration fee for the scramble is $200 per team, with an optional individual golf package ($10 for one mulligan and two skirts per golfer). Cash prizes will be awarded for the first-, second- and third-place teams in the Lawrence County Boys' Basketball-hosted event. One of the area's top boys' high school basketball teams, Lawrence County is the reigning 58th District champion and concluded the 2019-20 season as the 15th Region runner-up following an exciting postseason run. Eagle Ridge continues to welcome in golfers. An 18-hole golf course, Eagle Ridge features 6,630 yards from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course, which opened in 2003, was designed by Arthur Hills, ASGCA.
