PAINTSVILLE — Conner Lemaster pitched a no-hitter to lead host Johnson Central over Magoffin County 3-0 in the semifinals of the 57th District Baseball Tournament on Tuesday, May 17.

Lemaster recorded 17 strikeouts as he held Magoffin County hitless and earned the win on the mound.

Lucas Litteral suffered the loss on the mound for Magoffin County, recording nine strikeouts.

Johnson Central scored three runs on three hits.

Cameron Kelsey, Cole Ward and Bryce Spencer each connected for one hit in the Golden Eagles’ win. Hunter Blevins drove in one run for reigning 15th Region champion Johnson Central in the victory.

Magoffin County committed six errors in the season-ending setback. Following the loss, Magoffin County exited the 2022 high school baseball season 7-23.

Johnson Central advanced to meet crosstown rival Paintsville in the 57th District Baseball Tournament title game.
