RICHMOND — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Colonel Club Golf Classic presented by Kentucky Bank has been rescheduled for Friday, Aug. 28. The situation will continue to be monitored and additional adjustments will be made if required. A collaborative effort between EKU Athletics and the Office of Development & Alumni Relations, the Colonel Club Golf Classic is held annually each summer to raise financial support and awareness for EKU student-athletes. For more information on the event, contact Grant Stepp at 859-622-7128 or grant.stepp@eku.edu. Again, this year's scramble will feature opportunities for players to win a chance to go to the Master's, the Super Bowl or a PGA Championship. There will be one session this year, with registration beginning at 1 p.m. and a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. (this is subject to change based on availability). The deadline to register is August 24. The entry fee is $150 per individual and includes golf, golf cart, dinner after the round, food and beverages throughout the day and a special Colonel Club Golf Classic gift. There is a special $75 rate for players under the age of 30. Hole sponsorships are $250 and include one golfer. Golf cart sponsorships are $100.
