PIKEVILLE — Two of three people charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in Johnson County entered guilty pleas in federal court Monday.

Davon J. Blackford and Megan S. Stacy, both of Lexington, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court at Pikeville to conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine in Johnson County from March 2021 through Dec. 3, 2021.

A third defendant, Ned C. Davis of Flat Gap, is scheduled to be rearraigned and enter a guilty plea on Friday.

According to his plea agreement with prosecutors, Blackford, who was previously convicted of second-degree robbery in Jefferson County, “worked together with an associate to regularly deliver pound-level quantities of methamphetamine to a drug dealer” in Johnson County.

“Over the course of this relationship, the Defendant delivered more than 500 grams of methamphetamine to the Johnson County drug dealer,” the agreement says. “While the Defendant was on his way to make one of these methamphetamine deliveries with his associate, law enforcement located and sized 355 grams of the Defendant’s actual methamphetamine.”

Stacy and an associate traveled from Lexington to deliver methamphetamine to a drug dealer in Johnson County, her plea agreement says.

“When they became concerned that they were being followed by law enforcement, the Defendant and her associate pulled into a gas station and the Defendant attempted to conceal the methamphetamine in the restroom in Johnson County, Kentucky,” the agreement says. “However, law enforcement located that methamphetamine, which has been tested to be 355 grams of actual methamphetamine. Prior to this occasion, the Defendant had regularly traveled with and assisted her associate with delivering methamphetamine to the Johnson County drug dealer. In total the Defendant assisted in the distribution of more than 500 grams of methamphetamine.”

In addition to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, Davis is charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, three counts of felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking offense.

Davis possessed with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine on Nov. 8, 2021, and Dec. 3, 2021, in Johnson County and Feb. 12 of this year in Floyd County, the indictment says.

Davis, a convicted felon, also possessed a Ruger LCP .380-caliber pistol and a Taurus G2 9mm-caliber pistol on Nov. 8 in Johnson County, a SCCY CPX-1 9mm-caliber pistol and a Davis Industries Derringer .22-caliber handgun on Dec. 3 in Johnson County and a Taurus G2C 9mm-calber pistol on Feb. 12 in Floyd County, according to the indictment.

The firearms and $8,620 in cash seized from Davis on Feb. 12 are subject to forfeiture, the indictment says.
