Two MC Woman Arrested for Selling Juveniles THC Among Six Indicted

Two Martin County women who were accused of being in connection with a Martin County student being hospitalized last January after they sold him a product called Mellow Fellow from Smokin Hott Novelties $ More were formally charged by the grand jury Thursday, April 2.
Linda Slone 53, and Thelma Goforth, 54, both of Inez, admitted that they had knowingly sold to 50 or more minors and stated they had become comfortable making the extra money they were getting by selling to juveniles according to court records.
A search warrant of the store was prompted for the business after MC Schools PD investigated multiple incidents where school students were cited for bringing THC vapes onto school grounds.
Both of their indictments state they were equally charged with unlawful transaction 2nd degree, wanton endangerment 1st degree (complicity) when on January 8 they are accused of acting alone or in complicity in committing the offense of inducing, assisting or causing a minor, juvenile child less than 18 years of age to engage in illegal controlled substance activity, marijuana.
Both are also accused of acting alone or in complicity in committing the offense of engaging in conduct which created a substantial risk of danger of serious physical injury or death to another namely A.L. a juvenile child.
Also, among those indicted during this month’s grand jury meeting were:
•Brandi Moore, 36, of Inez, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (complicity), and trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree (complicity) when on Feb. 12, she is accused of acting alone or in complicity with Larry Horn in committing the offense of trafficking in the 1st degree by being in possession of 71. 62 grams of methamphetamine with the intent of trafficking. She is also accused of acting alone or in complicity with Larry Horn ion committing the offense of trafficking in the 2nd degree by being in possession of 10 dosage units of buprenorphine with the intent of trafficking along with $1,643 cash, multiple plastic baggies, and digital scales.
•Larry Horn, 58, of Inez, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (complicity), and trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree (complicity) when on Feb. 12, he is accused of acting alone or in complicity with Brandi Moore in committing the offense of trafficking in the 1st degree by being in possession of 71. 62 grams of methamphetamine with the intent of trafficking. He is also accused of acting alone or in complicity with Brandi Moore in committing the offense of trafficking in the 2nd degree by being in possession of 10 dosage units of buprenorphine with the intent of trafficking along with $1,643 cash, multiple plastic baggies, and digital scales.
Horn was also charged with obstructed vision/windshield and possession of open alcohol beverage container in motor vehicle.
•Rose Johnson, 54, of Inez, was charged with 3rd degree burglary (3counts), possession of burglary tools, 2nd degree criminal mischief when on Feb. 25, he is accused of entering a storage unit on three separate occasions that is rented/maintained by Kathy Williamson located in the Tomahawk community with the intent to commit the crime of theft therein. Johnson was also accused of having tools, instruments commonly used for committing forcible entry into premises and unlawfully causing under $1,000 in approximate damages to the storage unit.
•Marsha Patrick Fletcher, 48, of Pilgrim, was indicted twice on two charges of bail jumping 1st degree when she failed to show up on her court date on March 5, on two separate felony charges for change of plea and pre-trial conferences.
