• William Jason Dillon, 41, of Louisa, charged with first-degree criminal abuse of a victim under 12 years of age and first-degree persistent felony offender for allegedly intentionally and unlawfully abusing a minor under the age of 12 and causing serious physical injury, placing him in a situation that may have caused the minor serious physical injury and or caused torture, cruel confinement or cruel punishment from Feb. 14 through Feb. 28 and for having previously been convicted of a felony.

• Billy Howard, 55, of Louisa, charged with receiving stolen property, a firearm; fraudulent use of an EBT card; first-degree possession of a controlled substance; and possession of marijuana for allegedly possessing a Walther 9mm caliber handgun stolen from Timothy Bleasdale; knowingly and unlawfully, with intent to defraud, use, attempting to use, acquire, transfer, traffic, counterfeit or possess a food stamp card or food stamp identification card or unique electronic authorization codes or numbers in any manner not authorized by law; and possessing methamphetamine and marijuana on April 27.

(Editor’s note: An indictment is not an indication of guilt but a determination by the grand jury that criminal charges warrant further judicial review.)
