Thirteen Cases Bumped up to Johnson County Grand Jury This Month

A total of thirteen cases in Johnson County were bumped to grand jury this month, several for bail jumping.
Among those indicted were:
• Daniel Ritchie, 47, of Nippa, was charged with 1st degree bail jumping when on March 27, he committed the offense of unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, failed to appear at the specified time and place upon condition of the court in connection with a felony charge.
• Danny Parker, 37, of Paintsville, was charged with 1st degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and public intoxication.
• Shyla Selvage, 31, of Paintsville, was charged with 1st degree bail jumping was charged with 1st degree bail jumping when on March 27, she committed the offense of unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, failed to appear at the specified time and place upon condition of the court in connection with a felony charge.
• Logan Ross, 20, of Blackey, was charged with 1st degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, first offense), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Timothy Howard, 23, of Salyersville, was charged with 1st degree bail jumping was charged with first-degree bail jumping when on March 29, he committed the offense of unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, failed to appear at the specified time and place upon condition of the court in connection with a felony charge.
• Clinton Castle, 44, of Paintsville, was charged with 1st degree bail jumping was charged with first-degree bail jumping when on April 19, he committed the offense of unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, failed to appear at the specified time and place upon condition of the court in connection with a felony charge.
• Danuell Marcum, 52, of Louisa, was charged with first-degree bail jumping was charged with first-degree bail jumping when on April 10, she committed the offense of unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, failed to appear at the specified time and place upon condition of the court in connection with a felony charge.
• Gary Gamble Jr., 47, of Paintsville, was charged with 1st degree bail jumping (two counts) and being a persistent felony offender in the first degree (two counts) when on March 27, he committed the offense of unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, failed to appear at the specified time and place upon condition of the court in connection with a felony charge.
• Kobe Davis, 31, Louisa, was charged with 1st degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine, first offense), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (opiates, first offense) and DUI.
• Cecil Diamond, Williamson, WV, was charged with 1st degree promoting contraband and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (less than 2 grams of methamphetamine, first offense) when on Jan. 1, he is accused of promoting contraband by unlawfully introducing, obtaining or possessing a controlled substance onto the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center and trafficking .270 grams of meth.
• Michael Cooper, 64, Nippa, was charged with DUI (fourth or greater offense), driving on a DUI-suspended license (aggravator, first offense) and a traffic charge.
• James Blevins, 33, of Paintsville, on a charge of theft ($1,000 to $10,000) for an incident that led to his arrest on Jan. 22.
• Diana Howard, 56, Flat Gap, was charged with theft by deception ($1,000 to $10,000) and wildlife violations.
She is accused of not purchasing Public Pay Lake License with KY Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, purchasing fish/bait without dealers license, and several counts for not keeping proper receipts and paperwork.
