LOUISA — A suspect has been identified but no arrest has been made yet in the Thursday robbery at Citizens Bank of Kentucky in Louisa.

Police are searching for Seth Garrett Frank, 33, of Louisa, formerly of Mason, W.Va., in connection with the robbery.

According to a press release issued by the Louisa Police Department, officers were called to Citizens National Bank in Louisa Plaza at 3:23 p.m. Thursday. Shortly after the bank was robbed, the suspect(s) fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a dark-colored SUV, believed to be a GMC Acadia or something similar.

The Louisa Police Department said Friday that it had located the vehicle used during the robbery at a Louisa residence. Based on evidence found at the scene, a warrant was obtained for Frank.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Frank is urged to contact their local 911 center. Anyone with information regarding the robbery is encouraged to contact Sgt. Steven Wilburn at swilburn@louisapd.org or Det. Hunter James at hjames@louisapd.org.

More information will be released as the case progresses, the press release said.

“Chief Fugitt would like to thank all the people that came forward with tips and information that helped speed up the process of this case,” the police department said in a Facebook post. “LPD was assisted by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, Wayne County Sheriff Office and the West Virginia State Police and the Fort Gay Police Department.”

The robbery is the second in Louisa in less than two months. Walgreens was robbed April 27, and the suspect in that case left the scene in a stolen vehicle, police said. Jeremy Ray Burris, 33, of Louisa, was later arrested in Clarksville, Ind., and extradited back to Lawrence County to face a first-degree robbery charge in the Walgreens case.
