A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 5, at 11 a.m. for a new business in Louisa.

Louisa Mayor Harold Slone and Lawrence County Judge Executive Phil Carter will be on hand for the ribbon cutting of Woody & Bears House of Rhythm & Brews, located at 3397 Highway 2565 and will offer an arcade area, and a full BBQ menu.

“We invite each and everyone to come out and enjoy the hospitality, music, great food, along with our full menu,” said Curtis Snavely (Bear). “Our business is a three in one offering our Rhythm and Blues, Ma and Paws Grub Hut and for those with a sweet tooth we have Forbidden Fruits operated by Cassie Burgess all in one building.”

Snavely and Roy Wilburn (Woody) are also partnering with the Fallsburg Summer Stage with sharing entertainment guests.

Snavely told BSN there would an undisclosed performer for the ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday and on Saturday night at 7 p.m. The Cornbread Orchestra (full band) and Kenny Chaney will be the live entertainment.

“Our new establishment is all family owned and operated, Snavely said. “It will be a family friendly atmosphere with country music and a place where new artists can call home.”
